| Qualifications/Job Description Job Description: This position involves working with key clients to acquire, design, manage and execute primary market research projects to meet the client's objectives, timeline and budget. This position also involves prospecting and cultivating new business relationships with potential clients who have little or no knowledge of Answer & Insights. This position is for full-time employment, not subcontracting. The individual must be able to articulate the capabilities of Answers & Insights and possess the skills necessary to independently and confidently engage clients in discussions regarding primary research objectives, methodology and deliverable plans to meet their needs, to gain their confidence and to offer tactical and consultative expertise in research design, method and analysis and be able to communicate that to the client verbally and in written documentation. Organization and project management skills will be critical. This "hands-on" job requires that the individual: • Using client RFPs, design a research plan to meet the client's stated objectives, scope, timeline and budget • Work with internal employees and subcontractors to plan the timeline, get cost estimates and write a 'client ready' proposal detailing background, objectives, method, analysis method, timeline, location(s) and costs • Design screening guides, call scripts, questionnaires, discussion guides, and develop analysis plans including data code sheets, tab plans and report drafts • Assist with and coordinate internal and external resources to efficiently get projects completed on time (analysts, report writers and administrators) • Coordinate and moderate local and remote live and telephone qualitative research with a diverse respondent population weighted to medical professionals including in-depth interviews and focus groups • Write top-line Word/PowerPoint research findings promptly at the conclusion of research and develop full reports that deliver actionable results and recommendations to clients • Train market research telephone interviewers and/or data collection center supervisors on project specifics to ensure high quality and consistent results • Have a working knowledge of statistical methods used in market research and how to discern each method's benefit and use • Ability to deliver in-person presentations to senior executives • Define business opportunities and establish a communication plan to build client relationships as well as solicit RFPs • Be able to persuasively present capability presentations to potential clients Job Duties: • 80% of time will be spent working with existing clients. Travel: A moderate level of travel is required in this position. Depending on project type and workload, a minimum of 5 nights per month will be spent outside of Indianapolis. Required: • 5+ years of vendor and/or client primary market research experience (preferrably pharmaceutical, biotech, diagnostic or medical device) • Solid experience in moderating in-person and telephone in-depth interviews and focus groups with professionals and physicians • The proven ability to quickly take raw data and then create concise, insightful presentations in PowerPoint • Strong research presentation skills • Outgoing personality • Extreme attention to detail • Ability to successfully manage multiple projects and tasks • A client focused attitude • Computer experience with other Windows based software - Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint Extra Consideration: • Experience in statistical methods and the ability to conduct them • Healthcare industry experience in market research • Advanced moderating skills • An established list of clientele Compensation: Commensurate with level of skills and experience.
